I had some in Japan and they were exactly how you described them: nice enough, but no need to go out of my way to try them again. I don't think I'd want to eat them any way other than fried... and even then, a fried prawn or piece of fish would be much nicer in my opinion... and cheaper!<br /><br />Yours look nicely fried though.
